Did you know there’s an election on November 4th? Texans will vote on 17 constitutional amendments, including major property tax relief: Proposition 11 and Proposition 13.
Vote FOR Propositions 11 and 13
If approved, Proposition 11 would raise the school property tax homestead exemption for elderly or disabled homeowners from $10,000 to $60,000.
Proposition 13 would impact all Texas homeowners, increasing the homestead exemption to $140,000 from the current $100,000.
Early Voting Starts October 20th
Now is the time to make your voting plan. Early Voting runs October 20th–31st. Election Day is on November 4th.
Property tax relief is on the ballot. All you have to do is vote FOR Propositions 11 and 13 to see relief.
