Early Voting is underway! This constitutional amendment election, Texans will vote on 17 propositions, including one that affirms parents’ rights and responsibilities: Proposition 15.
Vote FOR Proposition 15
Proposition 15 reaffirms a fundamental truth: parents—not schools—should guide their children’s upbringing. If approved, Proposition 15 would amend the Texas Constitution to state:
“To enshrine truths deeply rooted in our nation’s history and traditions, the people of Texas affirm that a parent has the responsibility to nurture and protect their child and the corresponding fundamental right to exercise care, custody, and control—including decisions concerning the child’s upbringing.”
This amendment ensures parents remain at the center of their children’s education, healthcare, and moral development—where they belong.
